In 2009, Jean-Claude Ellena created Terre d’Hermès Parfum and gave it a new density. OLFACTORY NOTES A warm, woody composition, Terre d’Hermès Eau de Parfum is underpinned by enveloping cedar, sparkling grapefruit and a radiant note of shiso. THE OBJECT On the base of the bottle, an intense orange H latches on to the earth. It is echoed by the colour of the fragrance, down to the metal shoulders that reflect the light. THE HERMÈS DETAIL The Terre d’Hermès Eau de Parfum bottle unveils a range of details: the Hermès saddle nail, the sliding cover, etc. Designed by Philippe Mouquet, it is inspired by a bottle in a travel vanity case that is conserved at the Emile Hermès museum.
